Stubenrauchstraße Cemetery may be visited daily from sunrise to sunset. The gates are not necessarily locked at night, but remaining on the grounds outside this period is still prohibited. A fixed statement such as “08:00–20:00” would therefore be misleading.
Winter visits have a much shorter window than summer visits. Begin grave care, a walk or a grave search with ample daylight. Weather, funerals and works on the grounds can also affect individual paths.
Columbarium access and assistance
The upper columbarium level is reached using a mobile ramp operated with a Euro key. District information gives assistance periods on Mondays and Thursdays from 07:30 to 14:30; on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, arrange assistance in advance. These service periods do not extend the general visiting time.
Burial appointments are not opening hours
Earth burials are scheduled on Mondays from 09:00 to 13:00, and urn burials on Thursdays from 09:00 to 13:00. These are appointment windows for burials, not general visiting or office hours.
Plan water seasonally
Water is normally turned on only after the risk of frost has passed in spring and turned off after Totensonntag in November. Technical interruptions remain possible. Bring a suitable container and do not rely on running water outside the season. All seven locations appear on the cemetery map.
