What the interactive map contains
The map covers the public main gate, information board, chapel, columbarium, toilet, seven water points, two war memorial areas, cycle stands, Görresstraße bus stop and Bundesplatz station. Filters separate these categories; the text directory beneath the map remains usable if map tiles fail to load.
Water markers show locations used for grave care. Despite a differing technical tag in the underlying map data, the site makes no promise of year-round supply or drinking-water quality. Seasonal operation is what visitors should plan around.
Status of the site plan
The district page provides a slot for an overview image, but the linked download is currently unavailable. It does not provide an official cemetery-plan PDF. We therefore do not present a substitute document as an “official PDF plan”.
For additional historical orientation, Wikimedia Commons hosts a community-created schematic. It is not an official plan, but can help explain the basic arrangement of main axis, chapel and columbarium.
Visitor map and graves map
The general map avoids duplicated markers. Eight precisely mapped graves—including Marlene Dietrich, Helmut Newton and Ferruccio Busoni—appear only in notable graves, where each entry has a real grave photograph and its own point.
The Fehlerstraße gate does not appear as a visitor entrance because it is used for cemetery operations. No car-park marker is shown because a dedicated visitor car park is not documented. See address and directions for the practical alternatives.
